Calibration block No. 1
The calibration block No.1 (HELLING calibration body V 1) is described in the standard EN 2400 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Specification for calibration block No. 1".
This large calibration block is used for calibrating ultrasonic test equipment operating with large angle probes. Large angle probes are used, for example, for testing steel welds.
The calibration block V 1 is made of fine-grained steel with a groove and a 50 mm bore for the
- Adjustment of ultrasonic devices
- Control of the angle of incidence.

HELLING calibration body V 1 according to EN ISO 2400 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Specification for calibration block No. 1" for the calibration of ultrasonic test equipment with large angle probes
The calibration block V 1 is supplied with a manufacturer certificate. The block can be recalibrated.
Calibration block No. 2
The small calibration block No. 2 (HELLING calibration V 2) according to DIN EN ISO 7963 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Description of calibration body No. 2" consists of fine-grained steel and is provided with a 5 mm bore.
The calibration block serves the
- Ultrasonic equipment adjustment
- Calibration of the time base
- Sensitivity adjustment and check of the test probe
- Checking the angle of incidence and the sound exit point of miniature angle probes

HELLING calibration block V 2 according to EN ISO 7963 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Specification for calibration block No. 2" for the calibration of ultrasonic test devices with small angle probes
This ultrasonic calibration block is supplied with a manufacturer certificate.
