UT Calibration blocks

Calibration block no. 1

Calibration block No. 1(HELLING calibration block V 1) according to DIN EN ISO 2400 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Description of calibration body No. 1" is used for the adjustment of ultrasonic test equipment with vertical and angular probes. The calibration block has a 50 mm and a 3 mm bore.

Calibration block no. 2

The small calibration block No. 2(HELLING calibration block V 2 ) according to DIN EN ISO 7963 "Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Description of calibration body No. 2" consists of fine-grained steel. It is provided with a 5 mm hole. The control body is used with small angle probes.

The calibration block serves the

  • adjustment of the time base for vertical probes and miniature angle probes
  • Sensitivity adjustment with a vertical probe or miniature angle probe
  • Checking the test head
  • Checking the angle of incidence and the sound exit point of miniature angle probes
  • For range adjustment and control of the angle of incidence for miniature angle probes
  • Recalibrateable
  • With manufacturer certificate
