Spray cans (pump sprayers, eco-sprayers) are an environmentally friendly and also cost-effective alternative to detection media in spray cans (aerosol), for example, in leak detection, penetrant and magnetic particle testing.

Inspection practice often requires fast, cost-effective and permanent documentation of an inspection result, e.g. documenting a crack pattern.
The PT-MT Docu Film is especially suitable for fixing indications, surface roughnesses as well as for reproducing a crack pattern to be fixed. It is to be equated with photographic reproduction.
The foil can be applied to both straight and curved surfaces. Due to its high flexibility and affinity to the surface, it ensures very good fixation of the indications.

The particles of the test medium (penetrant, developer) are charged with a negative voltage. The test part is grounded and thus attracts the charged particles. The resulting force field produces what is known as the wrap-around effect. This means that not only the front side of the test specimen is coated, but also its back side.
