Biodegradable colour contrast penetrant

In penetrant testing, wastewater is generated during intermediate cleaning. With conventional test equipment, this wastewater must be cleaned by a wastewater treatment plant, for example by activated carbon filters.

Already in 2014, HELLING had a test of the red fluorescent penetrant NORD TEST ROT 3000 carried out by the Eurofins Institute for biodegradability.

The Zahn-Wellens test proved that this test product is biodegradable. The wastewater can be discharged untreated into the sewer system.
